the middle bit with the piano still just a placeholder for now. i like the way the last quarter builds back up to the loop point at the end. trying to focus on keeping it upbeat and bright, though maybe the downtempo piano/ambient version could be some kind of alternative track (?)
messing around with a synth arp line, added a couple snare shots. the main loop can probably go longer and then figure out some kind of real transition/structure for the b section.
b section is basically a placeholder. originally this track was structured like a standard club form where the layers build up over time, but i think in this context it’s better to start right from the full groove then contrast with a b section, simplify the texture then build it back up again to the loop point.
