drew some more automation lines on the fuzzy pad hpf in the intro just to make some space for the other elements and make it more dynamic. used a bit of ping pong delay to taper the sudden filter sweeps.
trying to smooth out the wshwshwsh stuff in the post-chorus, i could do a similar technique to what i did in SME, bouncing it to audio then running it through a granulizer a bunch of times and stitching it all together. but that kind of goes against the concept of this track which was just to be raw and focus on drum pad playing. so i’m kind of putting that off as long as possible.
i still think the hook needs some kind of descending effect like a high res laser kind of sound, but that feels a bit generic to me so i guess i am also trying to put that off as long as possible and see if i can find other ways to make that transition hit more effectively.
